Overview:

Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge, tucked away in the trees and cooled by the Pacific Ocean, is a 170 acre private reserve bordering Corcovado National Park. There are no roads to Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge, access is only by motor launch. The Lodge is the closest to Corcovado National Park, the last remaining Pacific lowland rainforest of sustainable size in Central America. Located on the Osa Peninsula in southwestern Costa Rica, Corcovado is the "crown jewel" of a world-renowned national park system.

Highlights:

- Hiking on the Casa Corcovado Trails, spot wildlife and observe some of the incredible variety of birds that abound in the park.
- Scuba Diving near Caño Island: Diving on the southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica can be simply described as spectacular. Caño Divers explores several sites around Caño Island. Protected as a biological reserve by the Costa Rican Government, the water surrounding the island is extremely pristine and teeming with life.

The hotel is actively working on two different programs of sustainable tourism, one with a non-profit organization, the Rainforest Alliance and another with the Costa Rica Tourist Board. This entails managing education programs in many different areas including best practices in sustainable tourism and environmental protection, emergency response and first aid, handling of solid waste and recycling, and imparting information on protected areas and the socio-cultural realities of our communities.
