Uvita
Not a surfing area, the beaches of Uvita are great for swimming and popular with Costa Ricans. While in Uvita also be sure to make a visit the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. The park, created in 1990, protects the coral reefs around the Isla Ballena to the south of the town.
