La Amistad National Park
Park Attractions
The La Amistad International Park is a joint effort of Costa Rica and Panama. The Talamanca Mountain Range rises from near sea level to over 3,800 m. There is a great abundance of mammals, including jaguars, peccaries, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, tapirs, anteaters, sloths, armadillos, pacas, deer, and agoutis. In addition, there are over 300 species of birds.

Park Facilities
The La Amistad International Park has two camping areas with restrooms, showers, drinking water and electricity. Also an observatory and research facilities.
