Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge

The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge is host to record numbers of migratory waterfowl. The freshwater lowlands lake which forms in the rainy season is fed by the Frío River. Fishing is allowed during certain parts of the rainy season.
