On this tour you will go to Finca Burio, located only five minutes from the town of Fortuna. Owned by a real Costa Rican farmer, Don Juan, just saying hi and talking to this character it is worth the tour! As soon as you arrive he will give you a tour of all the plantations, fruits you never seen in the supermarket, and all the uses for cooking, health benefits and industrial uses. The design of the land and the plantation attracts all sorts of birds and acts as a paradise for them. Experience real rainforest wildlife here on this farm!
In the same property they have a “trapiche” so you will see first-hand the process of sugar cane, drink it and enjoy the process sugar cane liquor: “guaro”. After this nice day, seeing how Don Juan properly uses land. Enjoy a healthy, organic and delicious lunch done by Don Juan’s wife, Yamileth.
