Sámara

Playa Sámara is a large half-moon bay with shallow, crystal-clear waters, very popular with swimmers and windsurfers alike. It is a particular favorite of Costa Rican’s on weekend getaways.  The beach is protected from rip tides by a barrier reef, which provides spectacular swimming conditions. Also, while in Sámara, you can explore the coast and the hills by bike, watch dolphins, ride horses, learn to sea kayak, fish, go diving and snorkeling, or zip through the tree-tops.
