Nosara

Playa de Nosara is one of the only ecotourism beaches on the Nicoya Peninsula, promoted by an international community of landowners who have set aside their property as wildlife reserves and parks. Unlike some of the more touristy beaches of the region, here, you will not find many hotels right on the water. Also, a short drive from Nosara is the Ostional Wildlife Refuge, which protects an olive ridley turtle nesting ground. No hunting whatsoever is allowed in this region and you can expect to see plentiful wildlife in the park
