Tamarindo

Located in the Guanacaste province, known for its warm weather and beautiful skies, the beaches here are spectacular. Tamarindo is a wide, white-sand beach with a large estuary, great for surfing. Tamarindo is a vibrant place with many great places to eat, large hotels, active nightlife and plentiful activities and services. Tamarindo is a favorite beach for nesting leatherback turtles. Other activities available are horseback riding along the beach, golfing, surfing schools, or even the opportunity to learn Spanish at the Wayra Language School.
